Illness, Symptom and Individuation

Mary Duffy.png

During 2016-17 Mary lived through a fated’ 20 months. It was an intense period of change, where the symbolic level of symbolism was mirrored in her outer life and health. As diagnosis eluded Doctors, her own reflections gave meaning to her experiences on a physical, psychological and spiritual level. She approaches the process of individuation and the healing of the psychic binary split through this experience of illness and trauma in the life of the body … and the embodiment of Spirit which it can bring about.
