Expressions of Interest for Podcast Sponsors

 
 

The Jung Society Melbourne (JSM) is seeking expressions of interest from anyone wishing to promote their services or organisation more widely.  

By sponsoring one of the monthly podcasts the JSM is planning to release during the year, you will have access to our JSM membership and be promoted to our extensive mailing list, which includes both national and international followers and participants.  Question: Would this proposal be of interest to you?

We would like to commence a paid Pilot “Podcast Sponsorship” Program in 2024 and we are offering you this opportunity first as someone who has previously advertised in our annual printed Program Booklets.  The first episode of Podcast Season Four has commenced this January 2024.  It is not too late to sponsor the second episode, which will be released next month (February 2024).

From May 2021 to the end of 2022, the Society uploaded at least one new episode per month and these 41 Podcasts have attracted over 53,000 downloads so far.  We were informed by Buzz Sprout that JSM downloads in 2022 came within the top 10% of its entire downloaded material for our listener ‘landscape’; second only to the United States!  The international breakdown was 41% from North America, 28% from Australia and NZ and 23% from Europe.   (Apple Podcasts, and Spotify are the most commonly used platforms to access them.)  

Over the last three years, the JSM has received ongoing social media messages from people in other countries expressing their appreciation for the rich content of these podcasts, made up of past talks given to the Society by our Guest Speakers.  We have also received direct requests to put people in touch with some of the speakers, and endorsements to continue the program.
