'The UNKNOWN: The Birth of the Spirit'

There are things known and there are things unknown,
and in between are the doors of perception.
— Aldous Huxley

Mary Duffy will show us a series of seven paintings, a new series created during the period 2010-2014. These paintings explore pathways to coming into relationship with Spirit, and will form the basis of discussion during the evening.

Her previous series, 'The Unseen: The Birth of the Soul' was presented at the Jung Society in December 2010. Those seven memorable images made a huge impact on everyone in the room, created much discussion and left us with seven memorable concepts to contemplate.

- "How can we present visual images of the 'unseen' and the 'unknown'? There is delightful irony in the challenge that Mary Duffy has taken up once again, with her most recent series of paintings which will be unveiled during her talk tonight."
