Following upon the success of last years Practice Group. This year a new group is being offered. The aim of the group will be to build a creative and safe container not only for discussion but also sharing of practice.
This year for the discussion and practice group we will read and discuss Christina Baldwin’s book, Life’s Companion, Journal Writing as a Spiritual Practice. We will not only discuss the book but also do the practice of writing. The participants need to purchase the book and read sections, and do some or all of the writing exercises for that section, between meetings. Then come along to class to connect, share, discuss and be enriched by each other along the way. In class we may also do other processes to enrich the journey.

About Your Facilitator:
Dr Shani Quiddington holds a BA majoring in Anthropology; Interdisciplinary Honors in Comparative Religion (Monash University); a Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Group Facilitation (Augustine Centre); Training in Psychodrama (several different schools over a number of years); Ph.D. focusing on Dr Jean Houston’s work (La Trobe); Gestalt Psychotherapy 2 years (Gestalt Therapy Australia) and Creative Arts Therapy (MIECAT).
Shani is currently training for ordination within the Triratna Buddhist Community.
